The celebration of the life of Mother Easwaramma, the mother of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, began on May 6th, 1977 as Children’s day in commeration of her death anniversary. On this special day, Sai Centers of New Jersey are coming together to celebrate at Sarva Dharma Service Center with activities for Children, plant flower beds and do maintenance of premises. All are welcome.

Several families displaced by hurricane harvey in Texas are still in need of a home. A group of young adults in East Brunswick are partnering with Harvey Housing Recovery Project (a non profit in Texas) to organize a 5K walk to support the reconstruction efforts. April - Special Observance Month

April 24th marks the seventh year of the Mahasamadhi of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the day He chose to withdraw from His physical form. Let us rededicate ourselves by putting into practice His directive to us to engage in service activities benefiting the community. Like in the past years, Sai Centers in New Jersey are commemorating the day by cooking and serving food to the homeless. The month of April is also being celebrated as Go-Green by recycling and taking steps to save mother earth from pollution. Prayers for universal happness are also suggested. See below for details.
